How does the Nook compare to the Sony Reader?

First off, I own a Sony Reader - when I bought it the Kindle was out, but I didn't like the form factor at all. It looked like a calculator from the 80's to me with the huge buttons at the bottom.

The Nook is nice because it looks great (click on "Pictures" above), but also allows you to wirelessly download books. That is the main reason I don't use my Sony Reader more - it is just too hard to get the books on the device.

Of course there are a ton of differences, but to me this is the one that matters.

First of all, the Nook is not even out yet, so I'm not sure how you can say it's better if you haven't used it. Secondly, the nook has that annoying 2nd screen that seems rather distracting and takes up quite a bit of precious real-estate. I'd rather have one screen that I can read off of, than a scrolling color advertising bar below the reading screen.

Is it easy or difficult to download free, Google books onto the Sony Reader Touch Edition? Thanks.
